If you are looking to make an ongoing difference, the best way to donate is by giving regularly. You can set up a monthly donation to us through Virgin Money Giving. It is easy to do, and if you're a UK taxpayer you can also set up Gift Aid on your donation so that the government tops up donations to us from the treasury! Whether or not you do this, the service we use for regular donations can be found on this page on Virgin Money Giving.

You can donate using your credit or debit cards through PayPal. You cannot use Gift Aid for these donations.

If you work in the UK, and your employer offers payroll giving through the Charities Aid Foundation, you can set up a regular donation from your salary before tax is deducted. This is tax efficient for you, and gives us a top up from her majesty's government. To do this,

• Ask your employer if they offer payroll giving through the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). This is also known as "Give As You Earn (GAYE)". If they don't, suggest they look at this as it is a tax efficient way for employees to give to any charity, not just Hope and Play. They can get details from the CAF website, www.cafonline.org.
• If your employer offers this, complete the Give As You Earn donor instruction form. Your employer should have this, or you can download it here. You need to print it out and fill it in, as your signature is required. The form is very easy to complete. The bits you need from us are:
  • Charity name: Hope and Play;
  • Address: 411 Tower Bridge Business Centre, 46-48 East Smithfield, London, E1W 1AW;
  • Commission number: 1125609;
  • Sponsorship number: leave blank.
• Give the completed form to your payroll department.
• Check if your employer operates an employer matching scheme, where they either match your donation or top it up themselves. Ask that they do this for your donations if it is on offer.

If you have a Charities Aid Foundation account, you can donate to us by any of the many ways they allow you to do this. The details you may need are as follows:
